A Story of Growth and Community
Every seed tells a story—and this one is about growth, generosity, and community reaching far beyond what we imagined.
We are incredibly proud to share that a recent donation of seeds has made its way into the hands of communities across Wisconsin, thanks to a meaningful partnership with the Madison Public Library.
With the support and coordination of Hannah Majeska, Community Engagement Librarian at the Lakeview branch, our seeds were thoughtfully distributed through local seed libraries and extended across a wider network.
✨ In total, the donation reached 20 libraries throughout South Central Wisconsin.
This means that families, individuals, and aspiring gardeners across multiple communities now have access to free seeds—encouraging healthy living, sustainability, and connection to nature.
A Ripple Effect Across Communities
Hannah shared the following message with us:

“Thank you for the generous donation of seeds to Madison Public Library from Vlada’s Seeds of Life! We were able to distribute some of your seeds through our local seed libraries, and others were shared within our wider library system for seed libraries and programs in surrounding communities. In total, your donation reached 20 libraries in South Central Wisconsin. Everyone was very appreciative to receive free seeds!”
Her words are a beautiful reminder that even a simple act—like donating seeds—can create a ripple effect across entire communities.
More than Just Seeds
Seed libraries are more than just a place to pick up seeds. They are:
- 🌱 A tool for food accessibility and sustainability
- 🏡 A way to bring families together through gardening
- 🤝 A platform for community sharing and education
By supporting these programs, we are helping plant the seeds of healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and deeper connections to the earth.
Looking Ahead
This milestone—reaching 20 libraries—is just the beginning. We are inspired to continue expanding our reach and sharing the mission of Vlada’s Seeds of Life with more communities across the country.
