We are excited to share an important milestone for Cooking with Vlada (formally known as Cooking and Kids) the educational television program produced by Vlada Vladic and distributed by Vlada’s Seeds of Life. In 2025, the show ranked #3 out of 955 programs on PEGMedia, based on total downloads by television stations across the United States. This recognition places Cooking with Vlada among the most widely distributed independent programs on the national platform.
What is PEGMedia and Why it matters
PEGMedia serves as a nationwide content distribution network for Public, Educational, and Government (PEG) access television stations.
Its purpose is to provide stations with high-quality, non-commercial programming created by independent producers, community organizations, and media centers. Through PEGMedia, stations can easily download and broadcast educational and community-focused shows for their local audiences.
The platform has grown into an important resource for community media, hosting more than 35,000 videos and content from over 1,000 participating stations and independent producers. By connecting producers with stations across the country, PEGMedia helps expand the reach of meaningful programming that might otherwise remain local.

Thanks to this network, Cooking with Vlada has achieved a remarkable national presence. The program is currently broadcast on 413 public access television stations across 46 states, including Washington, D.C., reaching a potential audience of more than 29 million households.
