Nonprofit Vlada’s Seeds of Life is on a mission to get Californians cooking with their kids.

Vlada Vladic, Founder of Vlada’s Seeds of Life, and her children visited the studio on Sunday morning to talk about the Cooking and Kids show.

The mission of Vlada’s Seeds of Life is to produce a quality family cooking program for Public Access television stations, libraries, schools, underprivileged families, etc., in order to bring families back to the dining table for quality family time and healthy homemade meals.

The organization has three projects:

• National – TV program called “Cooking and Kids” currently available in over 30 states including South Africa / Cape Town

• Regional – “America Dines-In” is a monthly dinner organized for various individuals and neighborhoods in an effort to promote stronger communities

• Local – “Project Independence” is focused on working one-on-one with foster youth, teaching them basic living and cooking skills
