On March 3rd, 2025, Vlada’s Seeds of Life successfully delivered 6000 various fruits and vegetable seed packages to Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, marking another significant milestone for the “Little Sprouts” project. This initiative, which began a number of years ago in Temecula, has blossomed into a widespread program that now extends across all of Los Angeles County.

Over the years, the project has gained momentum, reaching schools, community groups, and families all over the region. What started as a small local initiative in Temecula has now expanded throughout Los Angeles County, making a significant impact on how residents approach gardening, sustainability, and community involvement.
One of the key figures behind the success of this event was Ginger Safstrom, whose dedication and organizational efforts were instrumental in making the “Little Sprouts” seed distribution in Temecula possible. Her commitment to the cause, coupled with her exceptional coordination skills, ensured that the event ran smoothly, with plenty of seeds available for every eager participant.
Expanding Horizons: “Little Sprouts” Across Los Angeles County

While the event in Temecula was a shining example of the project’s growth, it is part of a much larger effort. Over the past few years, the “Little Sprouts” initiative has extended its outreach, reaching communities in Los Angeles County, and inspiring countless families to cultivate their own gardens. The program’s continued success is a testament to the power of community involvement and the collective desire to create a more sustainable, nature-connected way of life.
The seeds distributed at the event are just the beginning. The “Little Sprouts” project is committed to providing ongoing support to gardeners of all ages, with resources, workshops, and educational programs designed to ensure that participants have the knowledge and tools they need to grow thriving gardens.
Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, the future of the “Little Sprouts” project is bright. We are excited to continue expanding its reach, engaging with new communities, and fostering a deeper connection between families and the natural world. As the seeds we plant today grow into beautiful gardens tomorrow, we hope to continue inspiring others to take part in this green revolution.
