Meet Jake – A First Time Gardener
“I love to plant seeds. As a matter of fact, I look at it like a science experiment. Like, which seed will make a plant first, which plant will grow the tallest, and which plant will grow the fastest! My favorite part of being a gardener is watering the plants— that is very fun for me. I really like to go to the garden with my family and my dad helps me a lot. We like to do a flavor test when we pick our vegetables and try to guess which ones will be the sweetest. I know the soil has to have nutrients to make the plants strong. “ – Jake
