Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

When baking cookies for my kids,  I make sure they provide more than good taste. I like to create recipes that are all-natural, rich in protein and fiber while keeping the preparation process simple and fast. This recipe incorporates all of this!
Ingredients:
2 sticks unsalted butter
1 cup raw sugar
1/2 cup roasted almond butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. real vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
Start by whipping room temperature butter with sugar. Add almond butter, eggs, and vanilla, and mix for an  additional 3-4 minutes. Add chocolate chips, baking soda, baking powder, and flour. For best results, allow cookie dough to cool in fridge for about 2 hours before baking. Makes 25-30 cookies.
